and we meet againbegan as fragments of ideas. As the piece came together, it wasnt until revisiting these ideas many times before the piece developed into its current form. Sometimes we must encounter something (or someone) again and again before we can truly begin to comprehend or connect.and we meet againnow represents a rebirth of what I once knew. An ostinato in the bass marimba lays the foundation in the opening of the piece. As the pattern continues, the composition develops into something much more than the fragments that originated this work. B minor dominates throughout, but there are phrases where major peaks through, brightening up moments we didnt even realize were dark.
